Default Struggling To Choose A New Car

I've been hunting for a replacement to the S2000 for the last couple weeks but have struggled to find something that ticks all the boxes. Looking to get something more practical.

Ideally, I'd like something around 30k miles, 3 years and

FD2 Type R for a few more quid?

I'd also suggest the Megan!

Looking at your options, they cannot be compared to an S, so try to look at them in their own right.

How about an Abarth Punto thing?

Mondeo ST TDCi

Ticks all your boxes with the added bonus it is a great chassis, very chuckable and does 50 mpg!

Ticked most the boxes but a bit expensive for what you get
I have one of these as a company hack.

It's just turned one and I've covered about 25.5k in it in that time.

It's a grippy little thing (you can't tell what it's doing as it's a bit numb, but it does hang in there) and isn't a bad place to be when you're covering a few miles, but I wouldn't have it as my only car, nor would I spend my own money on one.

As you've noted. They're a bit pricey for what you get.

Have you tried the equivalent Golf rather than the 1.9?
