Default Supercar Clubs

Howsit

I'm looking for super car clubs, basically places where u pay cash to either hire supercars, or where u become a member of the club and get to drive all manner of exotics for an annual fee or whatever.

Do you know of any, and URL's?

Prefer the car club things, looking to start one myself.

Ecurie
P1
there are loads my boss is a pretty large investor in one of them but I can never remember the name of it.

Budget 8k per annum for 4 weeks driving.
Most are based down south predominantly within London although P1 are opening a branch in Alderley Edge or nearby IIRC

Things to look at:
* Points system and break down of vehicles in each category
* Check the cars actually exist and are not just planned or on order
* Financial stability remember there is little protection if the company goes bump
* Number of members in the club, no point joining if there is a million year wait for the top stuff

Probably cheaper than owning something very expensive and not driving it but 8k is

Like the Ecurie idea, but too much money I reckon I could hire the cars I would want for less!

Using the points system is neat, but it does "hide"the true cost of hiring the selected car.

You could just rent one of whatever you wanted for a weekend everynow and then.

There is a few people on PH that are members and post lots of pics/writeups of their hires for the weekend.

Don't know where you are in the country, but you could try the Classic Car Club in Edinburgh. They have one or two ageing supercars in their stable (as well as an NSX and an S2000), but a nice garage nonetheless.

I know Roadie hired a 360 for his 40th from a different outfit in Stirling, but they've apparently since gone bust. Reckon you want to go for a reputable and well established outfit given you'll be handing over a sizeable deposit ...

I was looking at a Murcielago for a weekend over the summer, they wanted nearly half of Ecurie's yearly fee for a long weekend

I know which makes more sense !!
