Default Terraclean?

Few fella's were talking about this today, one fella said his car ran better but that's debatable i guess.

Anyone used it or heard much about it?

Heard problems with mondeo/jag injectors but that's about it really.

Cheers

It's the type of thing you want to work brilliantly but it still reeks of serpent lubricant. Never seen/heard any decent evidence and I'd much rather spend the cash on a tank of v-power, some Redline SI-1 injector cleaner and a good ol' Italian tune-up

I thought it was a niche-market personal grooming product...

I found the following discussion on another forum on this subject. It takes some reading but is worth it:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/t542...ers_tests.html

Terraclean isn't mentioned in the list, however, but a long list of other additives are. I am not sure how scientifically the tests were carried out but I particularly liked the response from texan.

'Basically, any engine additive/cleaner/friction reducer is usually snake oil. It's a lot like saying the whole drivetrain system, which has been continually developed and perfected over the last 150 years, is also so flawed that some little bottle of wonder goo will solve all your ills. In reality, if anything is fundamentally wrong with the design, that bottle of goo is about as likely to fix it as you are to be bitten by a rabid pig while simultaneously being struck by lightning and attacked by mutant, ill tempered sea bass.'

an ill tempered sea bass?
