Time to bow out
Well sadly the march of impending fatherhood means it's time to swap the 2 seater uber-fun-machine for a sensible Mazda 5 MPV/Estate thing.
Our buyer is due to collect on Friday - I've already told him to sign up to the website! He is in exactly the same situation we were in just over a year ago of wanting to have some fun before settling down. Sadly the settling down has approached far too quickly for my liking!
The undesputed highlight of S2000 ownership is without doubt our 3000 mile trip around Europe, taking in France (down to Nice), the Italian Lakes, Switzerland, then the Oktoberfest in Munich.
It's not every car that turns a Ferrari driver's head on the Autoroute, or allows you to borrow the garage from a neighbour of an Italian restaurant. Reaching 130mph on the Autobahn was a fantastic feeling too, we were just too chicken to take it further.
I may not have been the most avid poster on here, but I thank you all for the masses of information available.
Here she is at the top of the Splugenpass

Already have a fun hatchback in the form of a 206 (ok, ok it's not a Golf GTi!) - our family have recently moved to the far ends of the country (Devon and Suffolk, we live in Reading!) so we wanted something big for trips away.
Plus we tend to holiday on the continent, so again something big required
