Great post, MB!

Sums up the car's advantages - and rather large drawback - rather well indeed.

I think you've done the buying in the right order; I'm not sure quite where one goes after the GT-R. Prison or the Official Receiver, depending...

Best of luck with the M3 - this one has the correct mass distribution built in, unlike the GT3. I'm sure you'll really like it as a superlative road car.

Thanks Nick I think the mass distribution is a key thing. This is far better balanced

Adrian,

This one will do Shame it's for the 6 cylinder.

On that note, i'm really very impressed with the BMW parts catalogue. Huge array of tuning parts. They seem to recognise that owners want to tweak, but keep the warranty. It's a win / win. I don't know of any / many manufacturers who do this.

Nottm, if I go for the Akrapovic I will let you know!

Not sure that would keep warranty Rog?

That intake isn't using the bonnet vent and it looks nothing like that under my bonnet , its not an M in the PIC is it?

I am increasingly leaning towards a DCT next year I think.

For the price the performance is very impressive in my slightly biased opinion

The engine is a thing of beauty and also a dead breed now as everything goes blown. Does this have the quicker DCT? Astonishing tech

Edit by the way it looks fantastic!

Nice, they're the right wheels. Wrong colour though.

You said that about the GT3 colour thanks for the positive words though

Wheels and mirrors will be black before long.
