Practical, not many cars people would think that was more practical than

As for ponies i think i see things from a similar viewpoint as MB. The M3 is a beast and far too easy to go far too fast given it's sheer grunt. Cruising at 120 honestly feels like no more than 70 in the S and getting there does not take long. It's only above 130 (on autobahn's obviously) that the wind noise makes you realise you're progressing well.

i think this will be a lot more fun for the road, he has his track car too. I would love an Exige but given i dont have any desire to sell the S and no intention of running 3 cars to myself (I need a car to take nipper) with paltry mileage it would be beyond frivolous . I did consider the Evora at one point but the BM feels very passenger safety conscious which is a big consideration

Do you actually use that kit car on the road?

I half expected to see you in an Evora, but this doesn't surprise me at all.

Yep, I do use the Westy on the road. Performance is reasonable but the fun is high! It only really works when the tyres and brakes get upto temp and to do that you have to take it to a track when it becomes an adrenaline pump.

But yes, the Exige is a lot more practical and I could go for a blast if it looked like rain knowing I wasn't going to be reaching for the plug to drain the water!

I have been looking at the Hanger111 Komotec rotrex installs for the standard Exige as you get a more efficient centrifugal blower, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, and a charge cooler thus eliminating the Exige S heatsoak and Supercharger whine.

Ultimately, as Mark says, I need a go in one.

Thanks all!

Should get it Sat if I can get home...

Orange does seem to be marmite, where people who are into cars like it, and those who aren't, don't I really like grey but its good to have a change. There was actually a yellow performance pack car in 08 spec for the same money, but yellow is beyond my comfort limit...

My mate has just swapped a white one of these for some 911 thing - he lost almost nothing in 2 years of ownership although he didn't do many miles ..... all he did was polish it though Possibly the nicest car i've had abandoned outside the house.

I prefer the Lotus personally.

The more I look at these, the more tempting they get! Does yours have an LSD Mark?
