Traffic Cops last night
Have we done with last week's episode now?
Good, yesterday's. . . .
The cop who ended up having a "Pol-ac" with the red Clio seemed to be a bit of a weapon.
From watching the video he had plenty of time to brake once the Clio indicated but didn't even lift off, just kept going.
Just because you have your blues 'n' twos on doesn't mean you can forget all you other basic driving rules.
So the Clio shouldn't have pulled out, but if I were to hit every car that pulled out on me when it shouldn't I'm sure I'd up being in the wrong some how.
Then we get the gobby Irish bloke getting himself a lot more hassle than I'm sure he wanted. Would have been much easier to say "hit a pothole / rock (whatever) on the way home, given the time of night I thought I'd limp it back home where I can sort it out. I can leave it here and come back with a spare wheel later" etc... It's pretty easy to be polite, and generally when I've been stopped I've always been treated politely too - wonder why??

I agree Dan with you on the Pol-Ac. He couldn't understand the attitude of the teenager.
How many different types of person in different situations has he seen over the years and he can't comprehend his attitude
The other situation. IMO the officer came across as a cocky twat who needs bringing down a peg or two.

Do they?
Or do they just show you the minority of cases where it does occur?
Or, use "editorial licence" to put a positive spin on the clip after the event?

In my experience .... and backed up by stats (info from HM Inspectorate of Constabulary's report into Roads Policing a few years back .... which I did read ... before falling asleep).

A good driver would have at least covered the brakes, but the Clio driver couldn't have missed the blue lights it he'd so much as glanced in the mirror.
not much of interest on that programme
apart from showing how strange the Welsh are
ps............... soulcrew, why is this there a police car in the backgound of your pic and why can't you park betweeen the lines ??

If we had makeup police, I reckon half of the female population of the North East would be skin colour instead of Imola Orange
