Default Urban Workshop

Rather than taking the 3 points I have decided to go for the Thames Valley Police
'urban workshop'. HMM....

It starts tomorrow at 8.30am we will see if its any good.

Agenda:
45 mins desk based assesment

followed by

90 minute interactive presentation

Anyone ever done this??

Seems a lot of hassle to save 3 points. Report to follow.

74 quid.

The fine would have been 60.

So its an extra 14 for the points to be removed and 2 hours of your life.

Plus the VPOWER to get you there and back.

I did the same course about 18 months ago.

There were about 40 people, you got a talk about speeding, we were shown some slides of accident skid marks, a talk about speed limits and what they were for different vehicles and then an interactive test / quiz at the end.

There was free coffee and a pen you could take home with you.

It was worth it to escape the three points, although it cost me more than

Thanks Rich.
The only feedback I've previously had on one of these courses was from a colleague who drives slower than slow, but still managed to get picked off for revenue collection.
He found it very meaningful, and now drives dangerously slow....
