Default V8 - Getting it out of your system

OK chaps and chapettes...

Assuming I am in the market for a V8 up to £30K what as a certain Mr D Brown would say is "The wisdom of the crowd".

Step up a notch and a couple of grand - M5

The best noise is the AMV8, but that's more wedge again.

New M3 is more pennies too.

Er, that would be a V10....

10k gets you an E39 V8 M5

won't be too long before you can get an E92 M3 V8 for 30k

Audi S8 V8 can be had for much less than 30k

Vauxhall Monaro

You can get an SLK 55 AMG for that, and probably an SL 55 AMG

Fezza would be a nice way to go, if you'd be happy to run one then take a look, but i suspect you'd get a bit of a dog for 30K. Good ones seem to be about 40+

SL would probs be the best outta whats been mentioned, that or the VXR8.

Guess it depends what sort of beast you want.

V8 or V10 or V12.

Something growly.

Seeing that the major manufacturers are starting to shy away from such engines - I would like a go before we are all consigned to 500cc egg boxes.
