It is Radical-esque, not an SR8 as the cockpit layout is different and doesn't look like an LMP car as they also have differing front bodywork.

Might be an SR3 or SR4 that has been modified slightly?

Sounds like an SR8, although they have a squared off dashboard as Rich mentioned. Also, it was left hand drive?

I've seen another version of that clip and it described the car as an R8. The engine note sounds more like a V8 than a souped up bike engine as you might find in a Radical or whatever ...

EDIT: Just found this link to it. The OP reckons it's an Audi, but someone else has posted thinking it's a BMW engined French prototype. Could be a Pescarolo or similar, I suppose.

 

Definately a prototype but it's not an R8 (dashboard) or a Pescorolo for the same reason.

The again, could be either with a modified dash!

Definately slower than a Ring Taxi though.........
