This week saw.....
Well all in a pretty crappy week to be honest. Apart from Tuesday when I spent a very pleasant day sailing a Jeanneau 54DS on the Solent and stayed at the Rhinefield House Hotel. Working hard that day.
The next day we had a guy from a large networking vendor spout on about climate change, to coin a phrase from pistonheads he really boiled my p*ss.
Then I end up writing a test plan and success criteria for a project I am working on, even though I have a million and one other things to do.
To top the week off whilst driving to a meeting to present said document some (edit)chap(/edit) in a P plate Fester reversed into my car trying to navigate the traffic in front of him

It makes me feel a little bit ill picturing peoples car damage
. A spin in the Cayman will be something different to try though, have fun with it. IMO the best looking car Porsche have put out since the original 911.
Is it just me or does the Boxter look rubbish?

I hope that wasn't us Lee !
The annoying thing is, we've got customers asking us about our carbon footprint and energy utilisation of our boxes in comparison to the competition.
There's some government thing that means companies are supposed to be carbon neutral moving forward; I've got supermarkets and even energy suppliers needing to know energy consumption figures and it's becoming a factor
Stupid from our perspective

Dreamer - No it wasn't your lot. It was the larger network vendor you used to work for. I actually see more interest in power consumption that carbon neutrality but that is normally because of the lack of power in data centre's these days.

I'll let you know when I pick it up and can spend some quality time driving it.
I test drove one back to back with the 997 C4S, whilst the Cayman was excellent it just felt like the chassis could handle much more power so it just felt under powered and a little slow off the mark compared to the 911.
