Welshman, possibly? Just guessing.

The exception that proves the rule.

True indeed, Gad.

Still, it's nice of Porsche to build a car

and have we got anyone with a proven racing record (apart from MarkB)

you know, someone who can really notice things like carbon fibre engine mounts?

or would I notice the extra stiffness (fnar) on my way to and from work?

There are a lot of cars that benefit from stiffened engine mounts (ostensibly those with engines in stupid places or transversely-mounted) and I do remember the wobbly lump-ooer!-phenomenon on the Carrera) so yes, possibly you would.

But only if one drives like a bloody lunatic.

Not recommended unless one IS a racing driver.
