Default Welshman's Atom Build - Part 3

Popped down to Crewkerne today to see the car. It was IVA'd last week so I knew it would be substantially complete.

On Jan 14th it had reached this stage:

The airbox had been put in place:

Have a look at the massive storage space:

The wheels had been put on:

The seat and harnesses installed:

The axle stands removed and the CF mudguards added:

The bonnet clipped on and Ariel badges added to the nose and the airbox cover:

The car is now complete:

We now need to get the car insured and registered. I'll be picking it up sometime from 1 March onwards.

Looks cool. I imagine you can't wait.

If it were mine I'd paint the wheels black though

I was following the pics and got to the one captioned "complete" and thought; oh?

I'd completely forgotten about the absence of bodywork by that point - wondered how they were gonna finish it in time!

Muppet.

Looks great, BTW. Even without any bodywork.

Love it even though it does look like a smurf mobile.

Yes it's the plate off the Blue NSX. It's been on my wife's S2000 for the last few years but I thought it was time it went back on a car of mine.

Haven't thought about the new NSX but think it's most unlikely that I'll be in the market for one.

Very nice. Can't help thinking the wheels being white or black would of been a better contrast to the blue frame.
Totally understand if it was to coincide with your bike though. Enjoy it
