Its fair enough the response Im getting on this but how would some of you act in the same circumstance? Maybe race him, ignore him or do what I did? Im not excusing what I did in fact I don't have to its freedom of speech, I wasnt aggressive or threatening. From what I can gather he was trying to get me to have a pop at him by 'daring' me.

For instance if an old lady cut me up I wouldnt react the same because it happens and wasnt intentional but in the situation I experienced it was intentional. I was just minding my own business and some idiot decides to aggressively drive up behind me with no provaction from me. I was just making the idiot aware of his actions which might one day be detrimental to him in sense causing an accident and possibly hurting someone else.

It doesn't bother me if people are driving right up my chuff, cant see the problem, tell you the truth since I raised the height of my rear spoiler I cant see them full stop.

If I see any of the local KFC crew weaving behind me I usually head for the village bypass, they love seeing the flames when I smack it through the gears.

Hug a chav, not all of them are bad.

Agreed.

Do you really care THAT little about your car and your safety that you're prepared to risk an accident AND get involved verbally with some 'chav' of unknown character/quantity?!?

Sorry...but you need to grow up and quick before you end up a lot worse off than you'd bargained for!!!

I know it can be tough to just 'let them win' as you may see it...but far better that than a damaged car or worse a damaged you! Take a deep breath, let them past, be proud of your magnanimity and maturity...

I had an interesting encounter this weekend. Bloke in a 4x4 got out of his tank and called me an "abnoctous little C * * T" because I didn't let him out of a side road. He soon ran back to the safety of his Merc 4x4 thingie when I got out of the car and was about twice his size

The women behind me was pissing herself laughing at him, and insinuated that he had a small penis

I've never felt the need to 'prove' anything. I'll drive how I want, when I want.

They wanna weave about and drive like a prat to 'prove' something to themselves? I just let them get on with it.

You were brave posting that...

Brake testing and accelerating while the other driver is trying to pull a silly overtake is stupid and very irresponsible. How would you have felt if he really screwed up and there was a head on?

We all get the red mist from time to time, but you went too far.

I appreciate all the comments here and to a certain extent agree that I shouldn't have confronted him and to be the bigger man and ignore him. However with concerns with causing an accident, would he have had time to stop if a child ran out in front of me and I had to brake, I don't think so. My brake test was a slight dab of the pedal to let him know he's too close.

In all fairness I wouldnt lose sleep if that day an accident happened because firstly he should not have been that close to me and HE chose to overtake, actually I would have been happy to be a witness.

Its not about him 'winning' I couldn't care less TBH, I was expressing my dislike to his driving that involved me. My only wish is that he will next do it to an unmarked police car, then that or a serious accident due to his fault will probably make him think twice about his intimidating style of driving.

Can't condone that miniboy. You're dropping to their level. Let them get on with it, they'll soon get bored.
