Default What is it with people...

Popped home at lunchtime to walk the dog with Mrs Shipley and on the way back, on a dual carraigeway I came up behind a bloke in a volkswagon TeDIous somethingorother doing 50 in the outside lane.

Sat there for a minute and then blew the horn. He pulled over and I roared past.

He then proceeded to chase me for the remaining 5 miles (at 90) flashing his lights and blowing his horn

Did I wake him up ?

Was he texting ? or having a fumble with himself ? He was in his fifties so I guess it was the latter

Tosser....

He wanted to show you he was a tosser, if he hadn't chased you you would never have known. BTW watch those ageist comments-some of us silver surfers are sensitve chaps!

I chased a bloke on a push bike the other day after he passed me but I couldn't catch him;

I've now fitted new pistons and barrels so should be over 30BHP now!

Look at that power house

Good point, well made.

I'm in my 40s so not far behind him - what I meant was he probably hadn't mastered texting - its normally the 18yr old girls with the scraped back hair who do that when driving.

everyday occurrence now

hold someone up then get outraged when they pass you

they get truly apopleptic when they have held you up for ages and you undertake

it just proves they are trying to take the p*ss

Lots of people in the UK have a stick up their arse.

It doesn't help with the bs marketing that makes average cars as fast as Ferraris.

Look at some of the talk on here on mid range cars - WGAF what their 0-60 is they are mediocre cars.

I'd love to stop these people and have a reasoned argument, or be hard enough to beat shit out of them.

Really is concerning what is going on in their heads!

You'd be wasting your time.

They would just end up shouting or drive off. It would be better if one would come along and post here...

Eny fule no that seed spills. Gordy say so and he speak the truth.

They were teaching you a lesson for driving too fast, because they know better than you. Hooligan in your so-called sports car.

Am I still allowed to say Hooligan, or is it Irishist?

I had a chap chase me once, as the driver of our car was using his mobile while waiting at the lights, and this chap took exception to it.

He chased us for about 10 minutes, overtaking in very unsafe places and pulling alongside, waving his arms all over the place and shouting.

We were both a bit disturbed by it as he followed us for ages.

After a while we finally decided to pull over and get out, so he pulled in front and got out too.

He started waving some card at us and was fuming.

Turns out he was an off duty rozzer.

Unbelievably, his issue was that "it's dangerous to drive while using your phone"

So what the **** was his lunatic driving then??? Safe??

I rang 999 and told them what was going on, and he backed down big time.

What a cock.
