I'm always tempted to undertake then pull back into the outside lane in front of them & then providing there is no other traffic coming up behind him/her put the hazard lights on & progressively drive slower and slower thus holding THEM up.
Should a nice empty roundabout loom then come to a complete standstill & wait & wait and wait ......

Generally it seems that sounding you horn just annoys them more, so better to quietly & CAREFULLY undertake & be sure you give no indication that you're in the least bit inconvenienced. This is fine of course providing they are not sitting in the outside lane doing 1mph going past others in the nearside lane - ditto lorries.

I undertook a guy in the outside lane of the M25 once, at night, with all lanes empty.

He was in a van.

He went nuts and was definately trying to ram me. Managed to escape.

Seem to attract trouble!

Had something a bit similar just before Christmas.

Guy in a van barged his way into the outside lane after just joining the M4 and cut me off. I blew my horn at him and he moved over. Fair enough I thought, I then went past him and all of a sudden he cut in behind me (almost taking out the car behind me) and then tried to ram me off the road.

Doris got very worried at this point so I backed off and got some pikey twat waving his fingers at me when he went past me, with his fugly wife doing the same. The kicker was that she was holding their child in her arms. Nice and safe.

I reported him to his firm and the Police for dangerous driving but never heard anything about it.

I was so fuming that he had endangered my girlfriends life I just wanted to rip his head off and lay a brick down his neck

I think Moggy has got it spot on. Lots of people in the UK do have something up their arse.

everyday occurrence now

hold someone up then get outraged when they pass you

they get truly apopleptic when they have held you up for ages and you undertake

it just proves they are trying to take the p*ss
And during my 2000 or so miles per week, IME they are driving a BMW.
Not a dig incidently, but merely an observation.

The thing really pisses me off are people who are going at a steady pace, then you goto overtake them and they put their foot down as you overtake making its dangerous! (if you were in the wrong gear or in a low powered car).

I dont understand they must take it as an insult or something.

He chased us for about 10 minutes, overtaking in very unsafe places and pulling alongside, waving his arms all over the place and shouting.

We were both a bit disturbed by it as he followed us for ages.

After a while we finally decided to pull over and get out, so he pulled in front and got out too.

He started waving some card at us and was fuming.

Turns out he was an off duty rozzer.

Unbelievably, his issue was that "it's dangerous to drive while using your phone"

So what the **** was his lunatic driving then??? Safe??

I rang 999 and told them what was going on, and he backed down big time.

What a cock.
That reminds of a time when i was in the car with my mate (whos a scary bloke), the other driver started it (totally unprovoked) and nearly killed us in the process.

We got out later on and so did he, my mate hit him straight away and knocked him out leaving him lying in the bushes by the side of the road, i was gobsmacked.

Yeah we made a hasty escape after that ( well for my mates 1.8L petrol freelander) . We were expected a knock on the door all week from the police.

I took this picture a couple of days ago and I think it sums this thread up quite well:

Now look at the model badge when zoomed in a bit:

Yep, he actually went to the trouble of sticking an 'S' on the back.

Worse, it's not even in the right size/font.
