Default What tyre blacking?

I cleaned my car on Saturday and it looked great when it was done, but I didn't have anything to black the tyres with.

So, what's the best stuff to buy?

I want something that's easy to put on and lasts a while.

I found the Zaino range on here when I first had my car and although I'm not as obsessive about polishing my current car, I still use Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss to this day. It looks like milk but nonetheless blackens the tyres up without overdoing it a la those Swiss Tony types with their tyre slick ...

Good stuff and a bottle lasts me ages.

I use meguires extreme tire spray (only the extreme, the regular doesn't last long at all). Its in an aerosol can making easy to apply. Can get it at your local auto store. Lasts a good 3-4 weeks before I need to re-apply

My bottle of turtle wax extreme tyre gel (bright green bottle) is about to run out and I don't think they sell it any more so I'm after a moderately priced replacement

There's a new version of Gtechniqs T1 out soon that looks like it will last the lifetime of the tyres (barring rubber wear)

I think they do sell the turtle wax extreme green gel stuff. They have changed the bottle slightly though. It's the best stuff I've found actually, seems to last longer (on the tyre and in the bottle) than any others I've tried.
