I tend to think "you peasant" when I see a LHD Fezza which can be had in RHD

Rightly or wrongly. I'd own an LHD car if that's the only form it came in. Like a new GT500 for example.

If you fancy a RHD Corvette, you can now buy one direct from GM.

It's 18 years old though...

Fletch's Vette was LHD. I think it was more the running costs that made him get rid of it, but I would imagine the parking barriers etc. were a PITA, particularly in a car that wide.
Yeah. Had two LHD cars and never had a problem.
To be fair I never took the vette into a multi story, mainly because it wouldn't fit.
Overtaking isn't a problem either, providing you are doing it 'properly'.

I was really sad to see the vette go, but couldn't keep it and the Harley.

Shall I merge this with your Z8 thread
I've considered a few LHD only cars (like the Z8 & vette ) but I'm not convinced I'd enjoy them in the UK

Mate of mine invariably had LHDs because you could buy them so cheap in Belgium years ago.

Apart from an odd tendency to punch the door instead of changing gear, never really had a problem driving them.

Having said that, the roads are far busier and cars are massively wider and I seem to be permanently overtaking dawdlers, so I wouldn't now.

I've had a LHD car for about 4 years because I'm a peasant

To be fair, the only issues are overtaking and carparks. Overtaking is harder due to line of sight, and carparks mean you need to undo your seat belt, stretch over, take the ticket, stretch back, faff around with your seat belt again (if you wish), and then drive off with a lot of impatient drivers behind you. Need I say the harder issue is the overtaking.

I alternated between LHD and RHD for years with no other problems, but in all honesty I would still go for RHD if at all possible, even if it costs a bit more.

Oh, I forgot to add that there is a great deal of "fun factor" from having a passenger who can't get it out of their head that they're not in the drivers seat, but they still try and brake hard and hold on for dear life.

Depends whether you want it for a daily driver. I'm a peasant so I bought a LHD and saved 20K in the process. Will be a proceed to my next toy Mine is only a weekend toy - overrtaking? no problem, stay back and when ready mash the pedal to the floor.
