Gsi

Yes, what I meant mechanically 'not far as new" was engine and gearbox.

Agree with the suspension, the MC does duck and dive much more than than the S as standard.

Next step for my brother if he doesn't sell it is upgrade the suspension.

Inside is great, I like the low side windows!

Link to MC for sale

So my brother's MC is now for sale. He had a big footabll accident 2 nights ago and can't drive for a few months.......

So thoughts of selling have become a reality.

Opposite of me, I'm thinking I might keep the S after all!

Colour is pretty rare, not that many about and it suits it.

Options are good - HK & Sunroof - though heated seats were standard, but the options seem to be fairly minor things (like washer jets on the lights) so could be wrong.

Car with warranty is a good buy, so should be worry free on the engine changeover.

Whalen shift machine (basically a shorter gearknob which weighs a bit) improves the gearchange a lot so I've heard (stupid money from the states too.)

Which make of exhaust has it got on it?

If it's in mint condition inside and out, the price is about right. But given the miles I reckon it's not a real bargain if it's tatty around the edges.

It is in fantastic condition. The bonnet (and maybe bumper) were resprayed by the previous owner so there's very few stone chips. My brother had the wheels refurbed as well so they are all in top nick as well.

Exhaust was from a place in Cardiff, makes tailor made exhausts. Sounds fantastic very purposeful and no drone what so ever.

I know the ones you mean, I think they are called Prospeed or something - remember seeing all about them on the forum when they were 'discovered'.
