A 2 year old car shouldn't need too much other than routine servicing and consumables, should it?
I wouldn't scrimp on servicing, or anything else for that matter, but nice to know what to expect.
I love the S, but fancy a change.
The only problem is that I'm married to an accountant

You've got three main drawbacks:
1. oversupply of the somewhat duff cooking models hits exclusivity/residuals.
2. It looks like that.
3. Potentially expensive running costs.
It makes quite a convincing case for buying one secondhand, in fact!

2. I always like the looks, bar the nose.
3. You only live once

I know, please talk to Caroline

I had three days of hell for selling the S but now it's getting much better ..... and that's only after a week! Thing is, that was only for a VW Golf - not a Z4M !
That could be weeks of hell
..... but worth it
Think of the noise with the hood down and the power .... anyway, it's probably done most of it's depreciating now
I think the least you should do is try one
I have driven the Z4MC and loved it.
I have some servicing prices at work. Will post them tomorrow (tho think I've posted them on another thread in the past).
Depreciation is obvoiusly something you need to consider. It will depreciate so you need to make sure you get maximum enjoyment out of it, by using it (like I have done my S)
I've just spent a few quid on a holiday of a lifetime in New Zealand. None of that is money I will be seeing again, but it was worth every penny.
I am certainly not wasteful with money, as I earn a lot less than most on here, I'm sure. But I learnt long ago that nothing in life is for free.
Work to earn money, to spend on things that you enjoy; whatever that maybe

You'd end up with a hoop & a stick, probably. If we hadn't bored you to death already.
