Default Airgate is looking at a Boxster!

Just wanted to warn you folks, Airgate is out looking at Boxsters!!! He even took one for a test drive!!

Can you believe that!! A regional director, and he is doing that. What is the world coming to?

If I was one of you guys or gals, I'd give him a lot of grief over this!!!

I think I'll go back my my regular forums now, and cause a little trouble over there!

Airgate will test drive anything with wheels on it. I think he has a certain level of motor oil in his blood that forces him to do this.

But it is so ugly compared to an S2000! Don't get me wrong, the Boxster is a nice car, but I just can't warm up to the front end.
Airgate, say it ain't so!

Well, what do you know! I do it too! Heck, I drive my wife crazy almost every weekend telling her lets go test driving! She really can't understand this obsession. I just tell her that it just a guy thing Anyways, last month I test drove the Mini Cooper S and a 2001 M3. For some weird reason it was alot more fun driving the Cooper than it was the M3. Hmmm, must have been the prick sales guy at BMW. The lady for the Mini was very nice and straight foward. She loved my car! While the guy from BMW asked my what I am driving now and told that yellow car over there. He goes " what that MR2?" I was shocked He should know the difference between a S2000 and MR2. Oh well, I have had the courage yet to go the Jaguar dealership yet to try out the XKR convertible. I will get to that eventually but I am more interested in trying out the Jaguar S Type R. That should be sweet. Word of advice, if you can't handle the sales guy don't do it. I usually can but it is a big plus to bring your wife or girlfriend along to help. All they have to do it say "NO" to me in front of the salesguy after the test drive and that would be it. I test drove Boxter S last year and it was a so so experence. Was a very short drive. Heck it was even 2 miles

Cut Raul a brake. He has the right to look at that car. I personally wouldn't pay that much more for a car with near identical performance. The cars are so close that the S only gets a slight edge because of aerodynamics at extremely high speeds.

If I was going to sink that kind of money into it, I would at least look at the M Roadster with 315hp.....

Personally I like the high reving engine of the s2k.

One other Note:

Boxster S = 30k car with 20k emblem
