Default Alignment Shop

Hi Guys,

I'm going to be putting on my coil overs soon and will need an alignment post install. I'm planning an altering the specs a bit to be more Euro spec. Can anyone recommend a shop that will not only preform the work correctly but not beach and moan about not using factory spec.

fyi...I've got Bilstein PSS9s

Todd

Todd, I have been very happy with Eurowerks/Zuffenhaus in Matthews, NC. They are a service/race shop and will align and corner balance to any spec you want. They just finished with mine and did a great job. You can reach them at:

Where do you guys get your alignment specs from? I would like to go a little more aggressive with my alignment (stock suspension) but don't really know what specs to use for "spirited street" and mayby autox.

By the way Todd, i am jealous of you. I want a set of PSS9's so bad!!

I would probably start with the UK alignment specs on a stock suspension:

Front Castor: 6.45
Front Camber: -1.0
Front Toe: 0.0
Rear Camber: -2.0
Rear Toe: 0.20 total 0.40

There are many threads on the board about them if you do a search. Double check to make sure these are correct, but they look right to me.

^Thanks for that! Is that pretty close to what a lot of you are running. I think I am getting some Konis and putting them on the lower perch. So .5 inch drop is pretty much stock.

I second the guys at Eurowerks/Zuffenhaus. I took my Vette there after the Chevy dealer tried to align the car and failed. They did an awesome job, they worked on it until it was perfect. I plan to use them again if/when I need it. They mostly work on Porsche and BMW cars, but they will align most cars and mount and balance tires too.
