Default Anyone good at hardwiring navi and v1?

I have a Garmin Nuvi nav unit and a Valentine 1 that I would like to hardwire it to the car. I have the Modifry bracket and the Nuvi ball. I want to install the V1 on the windscreen and hardwire it. I have the remote display and ordered the Direct-Wire Power Adapter Kit from the Valentine 1 website. I will have all the necessary items (I hope) to hardwire both units, but what I lack is the knowledge of how to. I am not so handy in the electronics department.

Is there anyone that can help me/do it for me that is good at this sort of things? If rate is reasonable, I'm willing to pay!
Anyone have done the windscreen install for the V1?
I've read that you can't use the accessory port in the fuse box to power multiple items, then how do I go about installing those two things?

Bonus question: Is there a way to "hardwire" an ipod to the stock radio? A la AUX jack. FM transmitter quality sucks!

Thanks guys!

Thanks TPhong. That is an interesting option. Did not know that was available.

Does anyone else have some insight on this? Like a DIY instructions on wiring things? I'm so clueless when it comes to electrical stuff...

There's a DIY somewhere on here for hardwiring the V1. You just need to do the same to the nav. Search for it, try looking in the electronics forum.
