Does anyone in the Raleigh are know how to rebuild a Diff? My OEM diff is fried and I am looking to have it rebuilt. If you know of someone with the skills please let me know. I'd like to help and learn if at all possible.

 

I havent done an s2k diff yet, but i have done a few rx7 and supra diff's

 

i am looking to rebuild it and probably install 4.57s or 4.44s while i am at it, but mostly i just want to open it up and inspect it to see how damaged it is. the whole shim and backlash crap confuses me.

 

the only thing i dont have is the dial gauge to measure the back lash. but i can do it no problem once i get one of those. maybe we can work something, rebuild diff for backlash measuring device + beer
