Default Apartments in Charlotte

My fiance and I are looking to move to Charlotte in the near future and will visiting soon for a wedding. While I'm there I was going to check out some apartments/areas. I just wanted to see if anyone here could vouch for some good apartments in the area. Location isnt as important but I planned to look in Uptown/south park mall/Ballantyne etc. If anyone has any recommendations please post them up or PM me!

Thanks,
Matt

I stay in the South Park area.. I'll pull up a couple of places for you. Are you looking for a garage or anything?

Thank you, appreciate it. No, not looking for anything crazy.
Or if anyone knows anywhere to stay away from that would help too.

I stay at " The Quail Hollows " Pretty nice place, I'm 5mins from South Park Mall.. hwy 77 and hwy 485 is mins away. The rates vary on when you come and check out the apartment. I live by myself and have a 2bedroom so I'm sure you and your wife could afford where I'm at. lol

What would you consider safer areas of charlotte for parking?

Lazy - quail hollows looks pretty similar to where we are now and what were looking for - thanks!

oh i have no idea.
i used to go to charlotte a lot but never lived there.

i would say stay away from the university area but im sure you have no plans to do that anyway.
my buddys car got stolen from one of the apts there the day he moved there.

he got it back, fixed and moved to a high rise apt with gated parking.
car stolen again a week after he gets it back from the shop.

he moved out of charlotte shortly after that.

University area is probably the highest car theft area around Charlotte. South Charlotte is nice in general, south park and ballantyne are very nice. I live on the edge of union county just past Matthews to avoid mecklenberg taxes, but there aren't too many apartments, mainly houses. Stay away from west Charlotte unless you go south of pineville.

Where I'm at is fairly safe to park your car outside. I mean I have mines outside and no one bothers it just the ladies..

Just mention 8826 apt.E referred you.. lol
