Default Asheville Body & Repair Shop

Nothing like having someone rear end you at a stoplight...

Oh well, such is life. I did a search on old threads for reputable body/paint shops around Asheville but I wanted to get some fresh suggestions.

My cousin can handle all the mechanical work which is still being assessed - I'd just need someone who can assemble and paint match the body panels and parts.

Maybe I should just have them repaint the whole thing...haha. MOONROCK METALLIC!

So far there's damage to the Bumper, Bumper cover, Tail lights, trunk lid, Trunk lid spoiler, Trunk well, bent exhaust tip/muffler, and all the adjacent reinforcements and links/tabs are broken or bent. Possible rear quarter panel damage as well.

The impact wasn't that bad but Chevy Silverado carries some momentum that's for sure.

I should know by the end of the week whether they'll fix it or total it. More details to come.

If they total it out.......without question buy it back and fix yourself!

Went to three body shops today and each inspected the car on a lift and provided a repair quote. $5250 to $6500!

The shop I was most impressed with and had the best reviews and local word of mouth was Parks Collision in Weaverville, NC.

Guess all that matters is what Insurance comes back with...

if repairs are as much as what the cars worth, they will total it. if that happens, buy it back, part it out and make some cash and look for another one.
