Hey man thanks. Yeah that course was pretty fun, way more awesome than a traditional autox course. I found turns 11 and 12 kind of tricky. I couldn't figure out which gear I wanted to be in. Seems like the AP2 gearing is a bit off for that course, but it was perfect coming out of the slalom and into turn 14. What did you think of the course? How did you do? My best time was a 60.496.

That's a good autocross setup. Pretty fast and good for the S2k.

The helmet shot was nice. A little bit weird but fun to watch

Man, CMP staff loves those disaster-waiting-to-happen finishes... They put those "slow-down" boxes at the end of each course for their autocross events last year. So stupid... It doesn't even really slow anyone down, just makes you have to swerve like crazy at the end while braking. They should just do a standard finish and allow you to slow down in a straight line like every other autocross course.

Nice run though man. Only thing I would have done differently would be to not downshift back into first at the first turn. Looks like you handled the rest of the course great. An autocross course at CMP is a little bit better suited for the gearing and redline of the AP1 it seems. Every time I've autocrossed there I've seen/heard AP2's having to go into 3rd then downshift afterwords while I was able to stay in 2nd and just bounce the limiter once or twice.

It was hard for me gearing as well, I was top of 2nd exiting some obstacles then went to 3rd but right back down to 2nd for the next one.... newmerous times. I ran a 61.2 It really felt like a 59 since my first run was a 61.9 but I guess the timer does not lie

Run looks good - I think you should have gone to 2nd for the hairpin though but then if you look at my run I get on the power early and track out further so its more distance - that is the track line though so you think it would be quicker.

You look much better in slaloms transitions than my car I am guessing you have a big front swaybar?
Your car understeers a bit round the first set of corners - mine the rear is light and I am feathering the throttle but nearly WOT.

I ran a 60.4 this is an AP1 with 4.44 rear-end which is very similar to AP2 gearing:

My first run was a 60.44 but and I felt it had maybe a high 58 certainly a 59 but I couldn't improve not sure if it was tires or what.
You look faster thru the finish I was taking it a bit carefully at the end because I coned every run, my launch sucked to.
