Default Berk 3" headerback tracking thread

So Im going to pick up a Berk 3" headerback on Saturday after the meet. I know it's loud and raspy, but from my research, adding a 3" Vibrant Ultra resonator tames it and makes it the perfect s2000 exhaust. I will use this thread to document my findings.

Preliminary findings: For the third time I have destroyed my cat, this time at least, my o2 sensor was just dented and not completed destroyed. The comb is completely dislodged from the housing. Thus, the source of my rattles.

FYI: Silicon spray lube makes the exhaust dampers jump on and off the mounts. Otherwise it's a curse fest.

Curious on your thoughts once you have this one and have some seat time. I've considered this exhaust a few times because bang for buck it's hard to beat. I've only ever had a few complaints - lots of guys seem to have the piping dent from making contact with axles, I personally think the tip needs to be 1.5-2" longer for AP2 rear, and it's known to be loud. You're taking care of #3. Curious to know how easy it is and how costly.

In for updates!

If my car wasn't on the trailer right now I'd suggest a mini-meet. I live in the neighborhood across the street from Matt.

You should go ahead and pick up the PLM header I have for sale right now to complete the exhaust package.

Just wondering, how did you destroy your cat 3 times? A local berlina black with blue wheels has this same headerback berk exhaust. It sounds really good.
