Beverages for the Dragon
I understand that the county Deals Gap is located in is dry. Last trip up I stopped at the IGA in Bryson City and got my brew. I think that is the last refuge if you are coming from the east.
Provisions include:
1- Bottle of Grey Goose
1 - Jar of olives
1- Bottle of Ginger Ale
Maybe some potato chips.
Not a heavy drinker, but planning keeping a buzz going during the evening hours only!!

# Fresh mint (if you're going to be making them for a lot of people, get a lot of mint. This is the foundation for the mojito)
# Limes (one for each drink)
# Clear rum (Bacardi Superior Light usually does the trick, but Captain Morgan's Silver Edition will do just fine)
# Club Soda
# Pure granulated sugar
# Bitters (this is where most people fail in the mojito making process)
i'm glad i saw this thread but i saw on fontana villages homepage that:
due to the fact that i don't know the area there, is highway 28 a little distance away from fontana village?
GREAT NEWS: Fontana Village now sells beer at the Texaco Gas Station on Hwy 28 and the Fontana Marina located on Hwy 28. Beer by the glass is available at the Village Grill. Beer, wine, and cocktails are available at the Mountainview Bistro.
