So me and a friend had a day off together and decided to hit up Caesar's Head since the weather was absolutely perfect. He has a Probe GT with the JDM Mazda motor in it, 210hp and a lot of torque. Thing is quick for a damn Probe, it's about even with my car up to highway speeds. But anyways, he has nice sticky BFG's I need to get ahold of too, bc my high mileage Yokohama rain tires aren't cutting it in the turns anymore lol. But that will be taken care of in the near future and I will feel more comfortable pushing my car a little more. But here are some pics and a video we made, I mounted it on his window, sorry for the lil bit of wind noise. I was surprised we actually got five min of straight driving at a decent pace with no cars for once!

Sucks though, I got my second speeding ticket last night on the way back lol

Andy, sorry aobut the ticket. Where did they get you? I have been running 178 lately and have not see any LEO's, but the repaved stretch of Hwy 11 is thick with them

 

Running 276 north to Brevard then 178 south is my favorite loop.

 

usually we go all the way to brevard but my friend had to work later.

i was on the damn phone with my girl and didn't notice a trooper clock me by furman, turn around, catch back up, pace me for a half mile, then finally pull me over lol. he was cool as hell though and said to come to court and he'd help me out since i was so polite. so w/e i'll try haha.

 

Great Pics and Video. That probe must be impressive. I was up there a couple of weeks ago with my brother-n-law. His Mustang Mach 1 had no chance keeping up with me.

I'll be back up this weekend for the Clemson game. Hopefully I can make a run up to Ceasar's Head too.

 

yeah the probe is stout for being what it is. he can drive that car a lot better than i can drive mine though. i am still learning the ways of RWD since i drove FWD and AWD for 5 years. I'm gettin there though haha
