I've run that loop too, and I agree -- 215 is a great ride. I've been know to come home from the Dragon by peeling off of hwy 74 and taking 276 over to 215.

Ahh, I remember that drive when I had my S2k, sadly, it's just not as fun in the Prelude...

 

Hey guys I'm here in Greenville also and have only had my S2k for a couple of months.

I have taken all of the routes mentioned above and the 215 is good. Isn't it the tarred-gravel surface IIRC? Not as many bikes on that road.

My grandfather has a place off 178 in Rocky Bottom. Awesome ride!

I was thinking about taking a day off work next week to go run the Dragon, anyone interested? Would it be less crowded during a weekday? I would think so, but... Or I could just go on any of the routes above.

If ya'll are planning any more trips, please let me know as I would like to join.

Oh yeah, I heard there was a white S2k wrecked on 178 on Sunday, anyone know who that was?

 

I am off to Edisto Island next week. There will be a nice gathering for Fall McDragon on Nov 3-4.
