Default Caliper Decal help

I recently painted the calipers on my AP2.
Next I added decals.

I noticed today that the decals are beginning to peel.

I plan to sand off the decals and repaint the calipers. Now, when I put on new decals, I want to protect them possibly with a heat proof clear lacquer . Does anyone sell something like that and if so, where can I find it?
Thanks.

Pep Boys, or Napa might. You should be able to find a heat resistant lacquer at Homs Depot or something. When you painted them the fist time did you sand them down smooth with a dremel? THis should help create more surface room for the adhesive to adhere to.

Thanks. Yes, I did clean them very well. I used a die grinder with a wire wheel. That made them almost shiny.
I'll check NAPA. Too bad we don't have a Pep Boys. I like their stores.

I haven't done it yet. I'll probably do it this week. Pictures to follow.

Where did you get your decals? I got mine from decalgirls.com. And hand no issues with them. I had them on for the dragon and CMP and the decal held up fine. Still hold up fine with many car washes.

Keep us updated on how the clear coat will handle the brake heat.
