Default Can Someone Please Help With An Intake Install!?!?!

Hi guys,

well this isnt for me, but i still need some realllly bad help. You see, best friend/roomate (yes the one who posted saying in bi ) has a protege5 and is slowly modifiying it. Just simple stuff, nothing to rice it out. Anyhoo, he has an intake and was wondering if anyone here could help us out instaling it. Im not very hands on techy type and not comfortable doing this. We took it to a shop here and they were ging to charge another 100-150 for install. His stupid ass actually went to a shop to isntall his 90 dollar shortshiter and ended up paying 130 for labor (they said they had to take hte heat shield off and ehsut off to get to udner the linkage or somehting, no clue). ANyways, would anyone do us hte biiiiiiiiiiiggggggggeeeeeessssssttttt favor and spare some time to help out with the install for these 2 poor college students!?!?! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

My badest advice to you is to have a shop install it. Without seeing it no one can tell you haw to change the vaccuum hoses. If you reconnect them weong you'll get a CEL.

what kind of intake?

unless you have to cut it in half for a bpv (aem) then it should only take 10 minutes
