I don't believe that project falls within the "new direction" the Carolinas is going. I can't be sure though as no one has been provided a outline of this "new direction".

CarolinaS2K.org is a landing page. It will be developed to share a quick story of what we do in the Carolinas...our gatherings, tech days, drives, events, etc... It WILL NOT replace the Carolinas forum...
The plan is to have "calling cards" with the CarolinaS2K.org logo and link so that when you leave it on someone's S2000 or meet an S2000 enthusiast, they can visit that site, read what it is we're ALL about and **THEN** visit the link to the s2ki.com forums/carolinas.
The way it is now, folks get TOO MUCH information when they initially visit s2ki.com and the Carolinas Forum...hence the need for a CLUB landing page.
