Default Changing cluch/flywheel...

I just ordered a new clutch and flywheel, both Toda, and I'm wondering if anyone around was good at changing them out. I'd rather not pay Honda as much as they're probably going to want to do it but if I have to, then I will. If anyone wants to do a tech day, that'd be awesome but I'm just asking the question. Thanks.

Ouch, that's all the way down in Wilmington. Thanks for the info and it's my fault for not posting what area I was looking for. Preferrably in the Hickory, Gastonia, Charlotte area.

I'm going to be back up at Raul's Oct 20th to get my corners cleared. I hope I've got the clutch and flywheel by then since they didn't have them in stock. Would you be willing to make the trek that day? If not that's more than fine.

I had a good friend that has a shop in Raleigh put mine in, he said it took EVERY bit of the labor in the ASA Certified estimating book.

Be prepared, you'll probably have disconnect the motor mounts & winch the motor up a bit.......Good luck.

it will take me 6-8 hours to do a clutch. You don't have to lift the motor, but you do have to *lower* it. The whole engine subfame gets dropped 3 inches to reach the top transmission bolts. Not a particularly fun job at all.
