Hello all,
I will be moving to Charleston, SC in a couple days, and I'm excited to meet everyone in the area. Is anyone interested in having a Charleston meet a few weeks down the road? I'm starting the thread now, so we can have plenty of time to set a firm date, gain interest, and work out the details.

I'm really glad this thread is getting a lot of positive responses.

Here's my current situation - The movers are packing and loading us up this coming Monday. I'm going to be pretty busy with moving into the new house and starting my new job (Feb 2) for the next couple weeks.

I would prefer to have a meet on a weekend, so we're not pressed for time, we can find somewhere nice to eat, cruise, maybe a photoshoot, etc. The 14th is obviously out because of Valentine's day. How about Saturday, the 7th? Does that work for everyone?

Something we need to consider as far as a meeting place and dinner is concerned is ample and safe parking. Any suggestions?

that won't work. Florida SM is that weekend, and i know of at least a couple people going

i'm not familiar enough with charleston to know the best places to park (we always walked or cabbed), but i do love king street grill. fig is good. there's tons of good restaurants
