I am going to visit my sister at Queens College in Charlotte and was wondering if any fellow S2000s in that area would like a mini meet... it would have to be at a hotel.. can't stay at the dorms.... I might could do something on the 20th as well but it would have to be earlier in the day... any ideas just hollar...

 

Ordinarily would love to meet, but I'm headed for the Dragon that weekend. (woohoo!) Enjoy your stay in Charlotte. Selwyn Pub is near Queen's and is a nice place to hang out if the weather's nice.

There are a pretty good number of s2000's here, but not a lot on this board yet. We're working on it!

Thanks anyways.. where is a place not too far from the Queens area that is an import hang out or street racing hang out??? If you happen to know?

Not sure about an import hang-out though. From what I've seen, the few racers here in town keep on the move. Five minutes on South Blvd on either Friday or Saturday night though should be enough for the rice patrol to find you

If you wanted something to do on Saturday, you could go to the car show at Durham Memorial Baptist Church. This will be their 4th year and over 100 cars will be present...street rods, muscle cars, etc. Location is intersection of Freedom Dr and Toddville Rd. Hours..9AM til 3PM. I'll have a vendor space there, so drop by and say "Hello" if you make it.

I saw some real cool cars up there... NSXS, XKR, 911 turbo, ect.

Oh, and the interstate was the best invention EVER.... did 90mph on I85 with a red NSX for about 45 mins... cool guy

Also stoplight raced a Boxster on the way home... bye bye bye even with my mom in the car... she was like GO GO GO
