Default Charlotte Area Hotels

My wife and I have to spend some time in Charlotte next week. I will be driving my S so I want to stay in an area that is relatively safe and secure. We need to be near the Carolina Regional Medical Center on Blythe Blvd. Thanks for your input.

best bet is a place in uptown since the med center is surrounded by residental only

plan b would be to stay off tyvola. you cant walk out of your hotel parking lot at night, but its cheap

I'd start here:

The Adam's Mark is nice, and the restaurant was great last time I was there. They sing opera during dinner. The Omni is also nice.

The Westin is the newest hotel and looks nice: link

the best deal for what you get is the omni. it's under 99 a night unless something is going on in town.

the 4 points sheraton is the closest to the hospital.

Thanks a lot guys. I didnt want to park my S in the wrong part of town and since I am unfamiliar with the city, I need some input. Thanks again.

We are leaving there to go to the mountains. Probably sppend a few days in Cherokee and if my wifes nerves can take it, I'll try again to slay the "Dragon"
