Dragon fans!

For folks in this area who plan to head to the Dragon for WTD on Thursday, 4/20, post here if you'd like to meetup for a caravan

Here's the plan so far:

8:30 -9:00 am - Meet up in Charlotte somewhere near the intersection of I-85 South and 485. (Need to find a place nearby where we could get a fast breakfast as well. Any ideas?)

9:00 - Leave Charlotte; take 85-South, 321 North to I-40 West

10:15ish - Meet up with folks coming from Raleigh or anyone heading west on I-40 near the intersection of Hwy 321 and 40-West

1:00-1:30 - Arrive Dragon; chow down on a Dragon burger, spend the afternoon on the Dragon, then check into Fontana

Sign me up. I am taking the whole day off. We could leave even earlier to maximize Dragon running without the crowds....

I'm also for leaving earlier if possible. Or, Jamie, we can drive over early with you if you want. I'm planning on taking off the whole day also.

I would love to join up early, but Dena isn't able to get the day off. We will probably leave more around 4:30-5pm. As we get closer there may be a change of plans.

If there are others with this situation, we can start a separate run group up. (In a separate thread of course.)

That might work for us. We are planning to spend Wednesday night on the way and probably in the Hickory or Statesville area.

I like earlier. Can't believe I said that. Say around 9:00? We could lunch on a Dragon burger around 1:30 if we'd like and then shake that burger up on the Dragon.
