Visitor from the north here;

I have planned a long drive thru the North Carolina mountains and into Clemson on October 10th, arriving late afternoon early evening. Anyone interested in dinner or a I believe I owe a couple of you for responding to my request for hotel recommendations earlier.

Also, I'm trying to hit the links the following morning (the 11th) before continuing my travel. Anyone interested in joining me, post up, or pm. My priority would be the Walker course, but would listen to other suggestions.

I'd also like to thank you all for your road recommendations, they have been very helpful. Hopefully I'll be able to add to your list.

check the favorite road sticky on the top of the page. it might be a little out off your way, but NC-VA border run is a good one.

Thanks, I did use the tread for some suggestions, and also found motorcycleroads.us to be very helpful. However, I'll be a bit west of the nc-va border run route.

Thanks for the invite in raleigh. Sorry to say that pinehurst area is the closest I'll get. Maybe next time.
