For those who aren't sure about this event, DO IT! The instructors are great and the track is allot of fun! Sure, you'll get passed by the 700hp Mustangs on the straights, but then you can pass them back in the corners!

all depends on the driver I had to give a point by to one Boss 302 and a Shelby GT500 in my run group...that was about it.

I ran a 1:53 flat on Z2's, so should be about 1:48-49 on R6's....just trying to see where I'd stand.

I was in San Diego last week, and Avis upgraded my rental to the Mustang with the track package. It was an automatic, but with all the track options on, the paddle shifters worked nicely. Too bad I was I traffic most of the day with no opportunity to have fun.

The funny thing is Avis disabled the navigation system, so they can rent the Garmin for $15, but they left the track functions enabled. They have a flashing orange warning light "For track use only" next to the options, and the contract strictly forbids use on tracks.
