Another question to my fellow S2000 owners. My neighbors are starting to decorate their houses and my wife is starting to unpack various holiday decor boxes.

I plan on using the same lights as last year (if they freakin' work ). My wife thinks we should do something "different."

I hate hanging lights. Especially those icicle ones! Arrrgggghhhh!

So, are you decorating your house for the holidays? If so, how many lights would you say that you'll have lit?

Based on last years decorating, I can say we had about 3k mini lights. Sounds like alot but it's not really that much considering a 100 light strand only covers one large sized shrub.

 

We used to decorate outside like crazy, stopped doing it about 4 years ago...i guess I'm getting lazy. Still do up the inside. I hope all the lights for our tree still light, wife was thinking last year of getting one of those pre-lighted artificial trees.

 

We put up several large wreaths on the outside of the house with garland. Then we put about 6 spotlights in the yard and shine them onto the house. Its simple but yet looks nice. Doesn't take that long to do it either.

 

A simple wreath on the door is all we do outside. The inside decorations take enough time to put up and take down as it is.

No that I think about it, the wife and kids do all the decorating anyway. Maybe we SHOULD have outside lights!
