Hello Everyone and Happy Holidays!

As you know I am hosting the Charlotte install on the 29th. Well, sadly, my husband's mother passed away (her funeral was yesterday) and we have made adjustments to our holiday schedule. Instead of travelling to PA for the holidays we are staying here to be with his family.

Though I would like to try to get to PA this weekend I cannot arrange it to be back in time by the 29th. So, I want to ask if anyone would like to host the install instead of me. Requirements needed are a garage and an oven. I have the clear diffusers (and I already bought the beer!) that I would be willing to pass on to whoever would like to have them (the total cost for the diffusers was $107.00). And of course, there is the prestige of having several beautiful S2000s in your driveway!

I do want to make it clear that I am not canceling the install should no one be able to host in my place. I know a lot of planning went into this and I will be here if nobody else can.

I can offer up my place in Greenville (2hrs south of Charlotte) for sure. Or, my uncle lives minutes from Huskergirl's place. I cannot confirm until he gets back in town on Thursday. It would be close enough that we could swing by and pick up your car for the install and return it, if you like. Again, I cannot confirm until my uncle returns from skiing, but it's an option.

 

I am sorry to hear about the loss....I swear it is something about this time of year. I lost my grandmother this time last year, and my uncle about 8 years ago on christmas eve. I send my deepest regrets to your husband, and family.

I'm sorry to hear about your family's loss. There is never a good time to lose a loved one, but the holidays do seem to make it even more difficult. I am most grateful that you have considered me and the other participants during your family's grief. I've received your PM and if all goes according to plan it seems as though there will be no reason to cancel this event on the 29th in Charlotte, NC. However, I will leave it to the interested member to post a confirmation here that he is willing to host in your stead.

Ok it looks like I will definitely host this event at my home. I will send PMs to w1ngman, huskergirl, sc_highlander, and smmcoy regarding finding my house. If anyone else is planning on attending let me know; you'll get a PM as well.
This should be fun. I will check the board at least once a day to be sure I don't miss anything.

I just got off the phone with Kalan. She will be unable to have the diffusers installed Sunday and has graciously offered to sell hers to me. Assuming this is OK with all, I would like directions and schedule.
