Sunday was such a beautiful day that I decided to take MyBride for a spin. I went to my garage, hopped in my baby, turned the key, pushed the start button and....nothing happened. The battery was deader than the garage floor. I didn't let it get me down though and told MyBride, "Let's go top-down in the Jag.

So I hopped in, turned the key and...NOTHING! I couldn't believe this was happening. TWO batteries DOA on the same day.

I'm convinced an energy draining alien broke into my garage and sucked the life out of our cars.

At least it had exquisit taste.

 

The cars are obviously ticked off about that red-headed newborn that's taking up garage space and getting so much of your attention these days... Can't say I blame them!

 

Do you think you might be able to use some of your lawn equipment to jump start the "S". We need to get it running for "Indy".

 

Good laughs! An alien sucking energy!? Were you able to enjoy the weather topless. Well, eerrr, in that, meaning with one of the covertibles?!

 

Alas, no.

I opted to chip more hurricane debris when I found my baby wouldn't start (see related thread about resurrection).

On the upside, I'm up to 15 cubic yards of mulch now.
