I'm going to have to pass this weekend. I'm ferrying a plane down to Fla. Be careful on those roads - its going to be wet and snowing before you get there. Here's the 10 day report at Fontana Dam.

Ah that's alright. Hopefully sometime in the future we can meet up since you don't live too far away. I'm hoping the 2 days of sun will clear the roads up a little at least.

We're still going up this saturday. (I think it'll just end up being me my friend, and possibly one other person), but I dont think we are planning on going the long way around. Does anybody know a more direct route there that they prefer?

Ahhh I gotcha! Yesterday was perfect. There wasnt much traffic at all and most of the time if someone did end up in front of us they would pull over and let us go by. Besides the roads being a little slick from the salt (which made it impossible to keep the car looking clean) everything else was great. We had a 911 turbo let us go ahead of him. We tried to pull away from him on some turns but that wasnt happening. That thing had so much grip. Wish I could've seen you up there street. Hope you have fun today. Oh yeah our drive up there was about 2 and a half hours but didnt seem like it because of the view and most of the roads were a lot of fun to drive on, so I'll definitely be going back again. Hopefully with more people next time.
