Just got off the phone with the service rep. The inspector from the warranty company says he's going to recommend they replace the short block. The rod at the end of the #4 cylinder is broken, and there's metal in the pan.

Here's hoping the warranty co. agrees to his recommendation!

I also want a thorough inspection of the head as part of it........

you might mention to him that you still don't trust the work the previous dealership did on the head, and see if they can make it right... Then again, maybe this was all caused by #4 failing to begin with...

I live in knoxville and i think they have it fixed, its for sale in the used cars side. JK. They do have an S thats the same color for sale though
