Dragon Fans,

It's almost last minute, but the annual Fall McDragon ("Officially a non-official non-event") is on for the weekend of November 11-12.

What is it? A (very) informal gathering of S2ks at Deal's Gap to enjoy the emptier roads and the cooler weather.

What's Planned? Nothing, that's the point! Ron and I are getting a cabin at Fontana Village, where everyone is welcome to hang out on Saturday and/or Sunday night, but everyone makes their own reservations and just shows up when they can. Just lots of fun Dragon time!

What's Different? The Dragon's Den (grill at Deal's Gap) will be closed for the season, so we'll have to run into Robbinsville or elsewhere for lunch.

Schedule? Not really, but since Monday is a holiday for some (Me! ), we'll be driving up from Charlotte Saturday morning, and spending Saturday and Sunday nights at Fontana; returning home on Monday. We'll probably eat dinner at Fontana Lodge Saturday night, or could cook up group chow at the cabin, depending on who shows.

We'll arrive at the Dragon around noon on Saturday, and take it from there! Radio channel 4.0.

Bump! Looking like the smallest McDragon EVER!

 

I'm seriously contemplating a couple of days...but would have to head back Sun afternoon/evening.

I'll know more, for sure, by this weekend.

 

I can't commit

 

My plans to put serious effort into getting the blue car running again this weekend have been dashed. Now, I'll be working most of the weekend. I doubt I'll drive up in the Titan, but we'll see...

 

I really want to come but I have an important meeting the weekend prior, so I may have to wait until after it's over before I reserve a room. Let's see: business, pleasure, business, pleasure..........tough call. I will let you know.
BTW, any chance you would consider doing this the weekend of Nov. 30, Dec. 1st ?
