if i can make this weekend I would like to go and meet at least some of the carolina sk2 members.. i'm in Sylva working...

 

Hi Max! We have mostly "tenatives" for this weekend, but would really enjoy meeting you. We'll have at least a few of us there, and you never know who shows up last minute.

Ron and I will be arriving Deal's Gap a little after 1:00 on Saturday. Normally, we'd have lunch at Deal's Gap, but the grill is closed for the season. We'll probably grab lunch on the way up, but should have plenty of time for afternoon Dragon runs.

If you have a hand-held radio, we'll be on channel 4. Cell phones don't really work up there, but you can try mine, just in case: 704-206-9873. The S2k's are hard to miss, so you should find us running back & forth across the Dragon all afternoon.

We have reservations at Fontana Village for Sat & Sunday nights, so you should be able to find us at the cabin later as well; check with the front desk if you can't find us.

How long are you working in Sylva? Look forward to meeting you!

life is a long story.. but if I can make this weekend I'll be there.. I came up here just to drive the dragon... i ended up launching a project at western carolina university... so i could be here years... by hand helds you mean those little shopping walkie talkies'... like motorola... mine are at home in florida... cell phones 904 347 1823...yea... not too difficult to spot a s2k...

HEY...the snow is only half that deep .

A nice day up here...only one county mountie...but plenty of slow traffic. Maybe better luck tomorrow.

 

And my S02 All Seasons are working great.

It's been a good day on the dragon and we'll be out again tomorrow morning. We passed Deadbird looking for a spot for his uber-cool trailer so I'm sure he'll be with us tomorrow too.

Come on, you know you want to be here. Come up up tomorrow. Monday's a holiday!
