Thanks YJ, I'm dealing with insurance adjusters today but should be ready quite soon. You're just down the road from me so thats perfect.

Scott, were going to try something on yours to see if we can elimate the normal wear spots. we'll see what and where the cause of the problem is and come up with something to slow or stop the normal wear spots. thats if your game? cause i've seen so many with this problem and it would be nice to find a solution.

Yellow Jacket - Usually, there are obvious rough spots on the frame at the standard tear locations. A rat file, or a dremel will make them smooth, then a little Berlina touch up paint will make them look pretty again. Or, you can wrap them in that cushony black tape like Honda uses for wiring going through stress areas.

I was going to mention that. Everyone in NY Metro knows they have a tsb for this. Part of the tsb is to file down those weld spots on the frame that are causing our tops to tear. I'm getting mine done at the dealer as soon as my parts come in. If you can catch this while you are still under warranty it's covered. If not you will have an up hill battle with Honda.
