Yep, welcome to Columbia!

Bring your camera to the Zoo, it makes for a great afternoon any day of the week. Don't miss the penguin feeding!!! Minor league baseball is pretty good, the Capital City Bombers, and find a "Marble Slab Creamery" or "Cold Stone Creamery" when you have a chance. They are icre-cream places (expensive), but a great place to cool down and relax.

There's an S2000 for sale in the paper if you want to own another...

Buy a newspaper every now and then, concerts and other entertainment come here, but are not heavily advertised outside of local print media.

Autocross in Greer next weekend. Quite a few S2000 drivers will probably be there if you just want to hang out. It's about an hour and a half away.

Gringo.

I'm in the Columbia area. Not too much to do around here, but I guess you're keeping busy out there at FJ...

There are 2 decent sized malls--not counting Richland Fashion Mall. Columbia Mall is out on Two Notch and there's another large mall on Harbison Blvd. Stay out of Columbia Mall after dark and stay away from Harbison on weekends.

There's a little pub called Hunter Gatherer near the University that makes several pretty good brews. They have bands on the weekends. It's one of our favorite places to hang out.

Of course there's always Five Points (and the Vista, I suppse) for a bit of nightlife.

Pick up a copy of the Free Times. There is always something going on in Columbia. You really shouldn't have any trouble finding something to do.
